Meet the Director
Zvidzai (Ziggy) Hwendero
Director & Principal Consultant
Ziggy Hwendero is an accomplished mining and business improvement leader with more than 26 years of experience across operations, maintenance, asset management, project delivery, commissioning, operational readiness, and business transformation.
Throughout his career, Ziggy has successfully led teams and delivered improvements across a diverse range of commodities, including iron ore, gold, lithium, rare earths, ferrochrome, steel, diamonds and salt operations. His experience spans the full project lifecycle, from concept studies and feasibility assessments through to commissioning, operational readiness, ramp-up and sustainable operations.
Ziggy has held senior leadership positions with leading mining organisations, including BHP and Hancock Iron Ore, where he has led major operational improvement initiatives, commissioning programs, shutdown improvement projects, risk management frameworks, and operational excellence transformations.
